As we begin the new year, and in fact new decade, we have received a new shipment of beautiful Kimono fabrics from Kyoto, Japan for our Silk Infinity Scarves. This grouping is especially beautiful - and instead of being flowers or animals is more textures and patterns - such as:

  • The Teal Sayagata pattern of interlocking manji - ancient Buddhist symbols that have been used across many cultures for thousands of years. The symbol came to Japan around the 1500s, and is known to represent life and strength. - or -

  • The Peach Seigaiha pattern of overlapping circles, symbolic of waves and the ebb and flow of life.  Seigaiha is considered a symbol of peace, good luck, and good fortune.

Look for these fabrics to be incorporated into our new 2020 collection of Philly High Fiber Kimono Silkies.
